Project management software development.

Work management software shows who is doing what, by when, and what is in the way.

We build it to order, around the way you work, or extend and connect the one you already have.

01What it is

In plain words.

Work management software shows who is doing what, by when, and what is in the way.

Every team has a system for tracking work, even if it is a whiteboard and a group chat. It stops working when work crosses teams: the plan lives in one tool, the tasks in another, the files in a third, and the real status in people's heads.

A work management system gives the whole organisation one picture. General tools do this well for general work. A custom build is for work with a shape of its own: construction stages, clinical trials, engineering changes, audits, anything where the steps, the approvals and the records are specific to the trade.

02What it includes

Every part, explained.

7 parts. Each can be built by itself; together they are one system.
Fig. 02The plan, on one road

01

Project management

Plans with phases, milestones, dependencies and baselines, shown as a timeline, a board or a list, with the critical path visible and changes recorded.

02

Task management

Tasks with an owner, a due date, a checklist and the files and conversation attached, on a personal view that tells each person what to do today.

03

Team collaboration

Comments, mentions, shared documents, decisions and approvals kept on the work they refer to, so the reason for a decision can be found a year later.

04

Workflow management

Your process as stages with rules: what must be complete before the next step, who signs off, and what happens automatically when they do.

05

Resource planning

Who is allocated to what, at what percentage, for how long, with overloads and gaps visible before they become missed dates.

06

Project analytics

Progress against plan, budget against actual, cycle times and where work waits longest, across one project or the whole portfolio.

07

AI-assisted project management

Built to draft a plan from a brief, write the status report from the task data, summarise a long discussion, and flag the task whose slip will move the end date.

Buy, extend or build?

Buy a general tool for general work; several are excellent. Build when your work follows a regulated or industry-specific process, when project data must sit with your finance, HR and document systems, or when you are paying per user for features built for someone else's workflow.

Where intelligence fits

The assistant in a project tool is built to save the manager's writing time and to notice risk early from the data already there: tasks ageing, dependencies drifting, one person on four critical items. It reports; people decide.

04How we build it

Five steps, in the open.

  1. 01

    Listen

You describe the work and where it hurts. We look at the systems and the data you have now.

  2. 02

    Specify

A written specification: what the system does, what it does not, what it connects to and how we will know it works. A clear quote before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Build in stages

A working piece at each stage, on real data, so you steer early. The part that matters most comes first.

  4. 04

    Move the data

Existing records mapped, cleaned of duplicates and reconciled against the old system before anything is switched off.

  5. 05

    Hand over

Training, documentation and the keys. Your team can run it, and we keep it working for as long as you want us to.

One set of records underneath

Customers, products, suppliers, people and stock are each defined once. A second system joins the first; it does not start a competing copy.

Runs where you decide

Your own servers, a private cloud or a cloud account that belongs to you. Customer, employee and financial data stays on infrastructure you control.

Yours to keep

You own the code, the data, the configuration and the documentation. There is no licence fee to us and nothing stopping another team from taking it on.

05Questions

Before you ask.

Questions about project & work management

Why build project software when so many products exist?

For most teams, you should not. The case for building is a process that products model badly: stage gates with formal approvals, regulated records, or work that has to draw on your own systems for costs, drawings or stock.

Can it show workload across the whole company?

Yes. Allocation by person and team across every project is one of the most valuable views, and one that general tools often charge extra for or do loosely.

Does it connect to time tracking and billing?

Yes. That combination, projects with time and billing, is professional services automation.

Tell us how the work runs today.

How the work runs today, what the system must do and what it has to connect to. A person reads it and replies honestly about whether to buy, extend or build.
