03Business systems · built to order

People and work.

Who is here, what they are working on, and what they need to do it.

HR, recruitment, project and work management, professional services automation and IT service management, built to order so the company can see its people, its work and its support in one place.

A company's largest cost is its people, and most companies can say less about how that cost is spent than about what is in the warehouse. Who is on which project, who is overloaded, who is about to leave and what is waiting on IT are questions answered by asking around.

These five systems answer them from records. They share the same people, teams and calendar, so a new hire entered once appears in payroll, in the project plan and in the IT queue for a laptop.

03.1HRMS / HCM

Human resource management and human capital management.

An HRMS is the system of record for everyone who works at a company: who they are, what they are paid, when they worked and how they are doing.

HR without a system is a filing cabinet and a set of spreadsheets, and every question is a project. How many people do we have, what did overtime cost last quarter, whose probation ends this month: each answer takes a day and is slightly different the next time it is asked.

What we build

  • Employee management
  • Payroll
  • Attendance and leave
  • Performance management
  • Workforce management
  • HR analytics
  • HR automation

03.2ATS

Applicant tracking system.

An applicant tracking system follows every candidate for every job, from application to offer.

Hiring through an inbox loses good people. Applications arrive in five places, a strong candidate waits two weeks because nobody knew whose turn it was, and the same person is interviewed twice by teams that never compared notes.

What we build

  • Recruitment management
  • Candidate tracking
  • Resume management
  • Interview workflows
  • AI candidate screening
  • Recruitment automation

03.3Project & work management

Project and work management systems.

Work management software shows who is doing what, by when, and what is in the way.

Every team has a system for tracking work, even if it is a whiteboard and a group chat. It stops working when work crosses teams: the plan lives in one tool, the tasks in another, the files in a third, and the real status in people's heads.

What we build

  • Project management
  • Task management
  • Team collaboration
  • Workflow management
  • Resource planning
  • Project analytics
  • AI-assisted project management

03.4PSA

Professional services automation.

Professional services automation runs a business that sells its people's time: the projects, who is on them, the hours, the invoices and whether each engagement made money.

A services firm can be busy and unprofitable at once. Hours go unrecorded, invoices go out late, the best people are triple-booked while others wait for work, and nobody knows a project lost money until it is over.

What we build

  • Client project management
  • Resource allocation
  • Time tracking
  • Billing
  • Utilisation management
  • Project profitability analytics

03.5ITSM

IT service management.

IT service management is how an IT team takes requests, fixes what breaks, changes systems safely and keeps track of what the company owns.

IT run by tap on the shoulder does not scale. Requests are forgotten, the same fault is fixed five times without anyone asking why it recurs, a Friday change takes down Monday, and nobody can produce a list of the laptops the company owns.

What we build

  • IT help desk
  • Incident management
  • Problem management
  • Change management
  • IT asset management
  • Service requests
  • IT workflow automation

Before you ask.

Questions

Our HR policies are unusual. Can the system follow them?

That is the main reason to build. Leave rules, shift patterns, allowances, approval chains and review cycles are written into the system as you run them, not approximated by the nearest setting in a product.

How is employee data protected?

Access is by role and by need: a manager sees their team, payroll sees pay, and every view of a sensitive record is logged. The system can run on infrastructure you control, so personal data does not leave it.

Can these connect to our payroll provider or accounting system?

Yes. Attendance, leave, time and expenses flow to payroll and finance through their interfaces, so nothing is typed twice.

Tell us about your people & work systems.

What you have, what it fails to do and what it must connect to. A person reads it and replies honestly.
