ITSM software development.

IT service management is how an IT team takes requests, fixes what breaks, changes systems safely and keeps track of what the company owns.

We build it to order, around the way you work, or extend and connect the one you already have.

01What it is

In plain words.

IT service management is how an IT team takes requests, fixes what breaks, changes systems safely and keeps track of what the company owns.

IT run by tap on the shoulder does not scale. Requests are forgotten, the same fault is fixed five times without anyone asking why it recurs, a Friday change takes down Monday, and nobody can produce a list of the laptops the company owns.

ITSM gives the team a set of connected processes for exactly these things. The large products implement the full framework. A custom build fits a team that needs the essentials done its own way, or one that supports systems and customers no product was designed around.

02What it includes

Every part, explained.

7 parts. Each can be built by itself; together they are one system.

01

IT help desk

One front door for employees: a portal, email and chat feeding a single queue, with categories, priorities and a knowledge base that answers the common questions before a ticket is raised.

02

Incident management

Something is broken: logged, prioritised by impact, assigned, escalated on a clock and communicated, with major incidents run from one page and reviewed afterwards.

03

Problem management

The cause behind repeated incidents: linking related tickets, recording the root cause and the fix, and keeping known errors and workarounds where the help desk can find them.

04

Change management

Changes requested, risk-assessed, approved, scheduled and reviewed, with a calendar that shows collisions and a record of what was changed when something later fails.

05

IT asset management

Hardware, software, licences and cloud resources: who has what, where, under which contract and warranty, from purchase to disposal.

06

Service requests

A catalogue of the things people ask for, such as access, equipment and accounts, each with its own form, approval and fulfilment steps.

07

IT workflow automation

Password resets, account creation, access grants, onboarding and offboarding carried out by the system through your directory and tools, with approvals where policy needs them.

Buy, extend or build?

Buy an ITSM product if you want the standard framework at standard scale. Build when IT supports customers as well as staff, when the processes must follow rules of your own industry, when ITSM has to share data with operational systems, or when the product's licence has outgrown the team using it.

Where intelligence fits

An assistant in ITSM is built to answer employees from your own documentation, classify and route tickets, group the fifty reports of one outage into one incident, and suggest the fix that worked last time. It works on your internal data, so it is designed to run inside your network.

04How we build it

Five steps, in the open.

  1. 01

    Listen

You describe the work and where it hurts. We look at the systems and the data you have now.

  2. 02

    Specify

A written specification: what the system does, what it does not, what it connects to and how we will know it works. A clear quote before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Build in stages

A working piece at each stage, on real data, so you steer early. The part that matters most comes first.

  4. 04

    Move the data

Existing records mapped, cleaned of duplicates and reconciled against the old system before anything is switched off.

  5. 05

    Hand over

Training, documentation and the keys. Your team can run it, and we keep it working for as long as you want us to.

One set of records underneath

Customers, products, suppliers, people and stock are each defined once. A second system joins the first; it does not start a competing copy.

Runs where you decide

Your own servers, a private cloud or a cloud account that belongs to you. Customer, employee and financial data stays on infrastructure you control.

Yours to keep

You own the code, the data, the configuration and the documentation. There is no licence fee to us and nothing stopping another team from taking it on.

05Questions

Before you ask.

Questions about ITSM

Do we need full ITIL processes?

Not all of them, and not on day one. Most teams get the bulk of the benefit from a clean help desk, incident handling, a simple change calendar and an asset list. The system can grow into the rest.

Can it automate onboarding and offboarding?

Yes. A joiner or leaver recorded in HR can trigger accounts, access, equipment and their removal, with each step logged.

How is ITSM different from a customer help desk?

The ticketing core is alike. ITSM adds what an internal IT team needs: change control, problem management, an asset register and a service catalogue.

Tell us how the work runs today.

How the work runs today, what the system must do and what it has to connect to. A person reads it and replies honestly about whether to buy, extend or build.
