Business process automation development.

Business process automation hands the repetitive steps of office work to software, so people do the parts that need a person.

We build it to order, around the way you work, or extend and connect the one you already have.

01What it is

In plain words.

Business process automation hands the repetitive steps of office work to software, so people do the parts that need a person.

A large share of office work is moving information from one place to another: reading a form and typing it into a system, forwarding a request for approval, chasing the person who has not replied, copying figures from an email into a spreadsheet.

Process automation takes those steps over. It is not a single product but a discipline: map the process as it is really done, remove the steps that need not exist, and automate the ones that remain, with people kept at the points where judgement matters.

02What it includes

Every part, explained.

7 parts. Each can be built by itself; together they are one system.
Fig. 02The routine, running by itself

01

Workflow automation

A request moves by itself from step to step and person to person, with deadlines, reminders and escalation, and anyone can see where it is.

02

Approval automation

Purchases, expenses, discounts, leave, contracts and changes routed to the right approver by amount and type, approved from a phone, with delegation and a full record.

03

Document automation

Contracts, quotes, letters, certificates and reports generated from data and templates, sent for signature, filed and tracked to expiry.

04

Data entry automation

Invoices, orders, forms and emails read by the system, the fields extracted, checked against your records and entered, with only the doubtful ones shown to a person.

05

Cross-department automation

Processes that span functions, such as order to cash, procure to pay, hire to retire and quote to delivery, joined end to end so nothing waits in a gap between departments.

06

AI-powered process automation

Built for the steps rules cannot handle: understanding a free-text request, classifying a document, deciding which queue a case belongs to, drafting the reply. Each decision carries a confidence, and low confidence goes to a person.

07

Custom business automation

The process that exists only in your company, automated as you run it, in a tool built for the people who do the work.

Buy, extend or build?

Buy a workflow or automation tool for simple, common flows; your existing software may already include one. Build when the process crosses several systems, when documents must be read and understood, when the rules are complex, or when the process is important enough that you want to own how it runs.

Where intelligence fits

Rules first, models where rules run out. Most of a process can and should be automated with plain logic that anyone can audit. Language models earn their place on the unstructured parts: reading documents and messages. We design every automated decision to be explainable and reversible, and we count how often a person overrules it.

04How we build it

Five steps, in the open.

  1. 01

    Listen

You describe the work and where it hurts. We look at the systems and the data you have now.

  2. 02

    Specify

A written specification: what the system does, what it does not, what it connects to and how we will know it works. A clear quote before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Build in stages

A working piece at each stage, on real data, so you steer early. The part that matters most comes first.

  4. 04

    Move the data

Existing records mapped, cleaned of duplicates and reconciled against the old system before anything is switched off.

  5. 05

    Hand over

Training, documentation and the keys. Your team can run it, and we keep it working for as long as you want us to.

One set of records underneath

Customers, products, suppliers, people and stock are each defined once. A second system joins the first; it does not start a competing copy.

Runs where you decide

Your own servers, a private cloud or a cloud account that belongs to you. Customer, employee and financial data stays on infrastructure you control.

Yours to keep

You own the code, the data, the configuration and the documentation. There is no licence fee to us and nothing stopping another team from taking it on.

05Questions

Before you ask.

Questions about BPA

What is the difference between BPA and RPA?

Robotic process automation mimics a person clicking through screens, which is quick to set up and brittle. Business process automation redesigns and automates the process itself, through proper interfaces where possible. We use screen automation only where a system offers no other way in.

Which processes should we automate first?

The ones that are frequent, rule-based, tedious and costly when they go wrong: invoice handling, order entry, approvals, onboarding. An audit of where time actually goes usually makes the first three obvious.

Will automation replace our staff?

It replaces tasks, not judgement. The aim is that the people who did the copying and chasing spend their time on exceptions and customers, which is usually the work the process was short of.

Tell us how the work runs today.

How the work runs today, what the system must do and what it has to connect to. A person reads it and replies honestly about whether to buy, extend or build.
