How much does it cost to develop an app in India?
It depends on what the app does, how many platforms it runs on and what sits behind it, and anyone quoting a figure before writing the scope is guessing. We write the specification first and quote against it, including the backend and the cost of running it after launch.
Native or cross-platform — which should we choose?
Cross-platform when the app is mostly screens and data and you want one codebase for both stores; native when it leans hard on the device — camera, sensors, background work, heavy graphics — or needs the last ounce of polish. We recommend one per project and explain why.
Do we need an app at all, or would a website do?
An app earns its place when people use it repeatedly and it does something a website cannot: notifications, offline use, the camera, a daily habit. If not, a well-built web app is cheaper to run and easier to change. Our guide on choosing between a website, web app, mobile app and custom software walks through it, and we will tell you honestly which you need.
How long does app development take?
A focused app: a few months from specification to store, delivered in visible stages. Design comes first and is tested early; the build then ships working pieces every week or two rather than a single reveal at the end.
Do you build the backend as well?
Yes. Most apps are half server, and we design and build the APIs, data, authentication and integrations behind them — on infrastructure you own or choose, so the app does not depend on us to keep running.
Who owns the app and its code?
You do: source code, designs, store listings, infrastructure and documentation. We can keep maintaining it under a separate, cancellable arrangement, or hand it to your team.
Do you work with clients outside Delhi NCR?
Yes, across India and internationally. Design and build happen remotely as well as in person. Being in New Delhi helps for organisations in the region that want to sit with us for discovery and testing.
