Most AI services work by having you send your data to them. Quantum Beetle's enterprise systems work the other way round: the intelligence is installed where your data already is. The company calls this sovereign by design.
It is a decision made at the start of every enterprise project, not a setting added later.
01What it means
- The system runs on infrastructure you control: your own servers or a private environment you choose.
- The AI models run there too. Local models are the default.
- The data, the indexes and the results stay there.
- An outside AI service is an explicit choice you make for a specific task, never a requirement.
02Why it is done this way
- The data that matters most is the data you can least afford to send away: prices, suppliers, payments, designs, contracts.
- A promise in a contract is weaker than a system that cannot leak because nothing leaves.
- Your systems, such as SAP and document stores, are inside your network already. Intelligence that sits beside them is simpler and faster.
- Prices rise, models are retired and vendors are acquired. What lives inside your walls is not affected.
- You should own the intelligence built from your data.
03What it does not mean
- It does not mean a room full of expensive hardware. Most of the work is rules and search, with models used sparingly.
- It does not mean weaker results. For reading records, matching, flagging and answering from your documents, well-chosen local models are accurate and consistent.
- It does not forbid outside services. It makes them a decision, with a record of when they were used.
04What you can check
- A diagram of every place your data travels, and which boxes you control
- A record of what was read and what was decided
- A switch for any outside connection, off by default
- A hand-over plan so your team can run the system
05Does this apply to websites and films?
No. A website is public by nature and is hosted where it serves visitors best. Sovereign deployment is about enterprise AI: systems that read your internal data.
In short
- Quantum Beetle's enterprise systems run on the client's own infrastructure, with local models by default.
- Outside AI services are an explicit choice, never a requirement.
- The reasons are data sensitivity, proof over promises, closeness to internal systems and ownership.
- It needs less hardware than expected, because most of the work is rules and search.
Questions
Can it run in a private cloud?
Yes. The test is control: an environment you choose, with the models and data inside it.
Does Quantum Beetle see our data?
Only as needed to build and support the system, on terms agreed with you first. The system itself keeps the data on your infrastructure.
What if we want to use a hosted model for some tasks?
You can. It is switched on deliberately, for the tasks you choose, and recorded.
Who runs it after it is built?
Your team can, after hand-over, with support from Quantum Beetle for as long as you want it.
Sounds like your problem?
Tell us about it. We'll say honestly whether the swarm can help, and what it would take.
