Choosing an ERP is among the largest technology decisions a company makes, and the phrase best ERP company hides who you are actually choosing: the maker of the product, the firm that will implement it, or a team that will build what no product covers.
This list is grouped that way. We are on it ourselves, in the last group, and say so.
00The list: ERP companies, by what they do
Companies are grouped by what they do, and the order within a group means nothing. Each entry gives two public facts — where the company is based and what it makes — and no prices, market shares, funding figures or rankings. Quantum Beetle, which wrote this page, appears once and is marked as such. Corrections are welcome at hello@quantumbeetle.ai.

Teams that build ERP to order
Builds ERP modules to order for businesses a package does not fit, and builds around an existing ERP: warehouse, order and planning systems, portals, and clean-up of master data. Its flagship product, MIDAS, cleans material master data in SAP and other ERPs on the client's own infrastructure.
01How this list was made
Three tests for inclusion: enterprise resource planning software is the company's product or a large, named part of its work; what it does is publicly documented, so the one-line description can be checked; and it is used well beyond one city or one customer.
The list was last reviewed on 2026-10-10. Companies merge, rename products and move, so treat it as a map of who exists, not a verdict on who is best. Corrections and additions: hello@quantumbeetle.ai.
02Which kind do you need?
- Your processes are close to your industry's norm: a packaged ERP, with an implementation partner if the company is large.
- You are a small or mid-sized business mostly needing accounts, stock and tax: one of the accounting-led products.
- Your core process is unlike the norm, or you have customised a package until it cannot be upgraded: build the operational modules to order and keep a standard ledger.
- Your ERP works and the pain is at its edges: build around it. A warehouse system, an order system or clean master data often does more than a replacement.
03Questions to ask any of them
- What will it cost over five years, not at purchase: licences, implementation, customisation, upgrades and support?
- How much of our process must change to fit the product, and how much of the product must change to fit us?
- Can we take all our data out, in full and in a usable form, whenever we choose?
- What does it connect to out of the box, and who builds and maintains the connections it lacks?
- Where does our data sit, and who can see it?
Our guide on when a company needs a custom ERP covers the staged way to build one.
04Where Quantum Beetle sits
In the last group. We do not sell a packaged ERP, and most companies should buy one; the groups above name who makes and implements them. We build what a package does not cover, and we make existing ERPs work better by cleaning their data and connecting what sits around them.
That starts from deep work on ERP data. MIDAS, our flagship product, finds duplicate and incomplete material records in SAP and ERP systems and runs on the client's own infrastructure.
In short
- ERP companies are product makers, implementers or builders. Most projects involve a maker and an implementer.
- A packaged ERP suits most companies with standard processes.
- Build to order for the part of the business that is unusual, and keep the ledger standard.
- Clean master data matters more than the choice of product.
- Quantum Beetle wrote this list and is on it, as a team that builds ERP modules to order and works on ERP data.
Questions
Which is the best ERP software?
It depends on the size and industry of the company. SAP, Oracle and Microsoft serve the largest organisations; Infor, Epicor and IFS focus on particular industries; Sage, Odoo, Acumatica, Tally and Zoho serve small and mid-sized businesses. No one product is best for all of them.
Which ERP is most used in India?
Among small and mid-sized businesses, Tally is used very widely for accounting and business management. Large Indian enterprises most often run SAP or Oracle, implemented by firms such as TCS, Infosys and Wipro.
What is the difference between an ERP vendor and an ERP implementer?
The vendor makes the software. The implementer configures it for your company, moves your data into it and trains your people. For a large ERP, the implementer has as much effect on the outcome as the product.
Does Quantum Beetle build ERP systems?
Yes, to order: finance, procurement, inventory, operations and planning modules for businesses a package does not fit, and systems built around an existing ERP. See quantumbeetle.ai/systems/operations/erp.
How do I get a company added or a description corrected?
Write to hello@quantumbeetle.ai with the company's name, city and a one-line description of what it makes. We add companies that meet the three tests in the section on how the list was made.
